Privacy Requests
Version 1.1 · Effective August 23, 2026 · Last Updated August 23, 2026
This page is how you exercise privacy rights, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or delete your account with MSYM Investments, LLC d/b/a SuperSonic POS (“SuperSonic,” “we,” “us,” “our”).
You do not need an account, and you do not need to install any application, to submit a request here.
For a description of what we collect and why, see our Consumer Privacy Policy if you shopped at a store that uses our systems or joined SuperSonic Rewards, or our Website, Business Contact & Product User Privacy Notice if you are a website visitor, business contact, or a product user at a merchant.
You will not be discriminated against for making a request.

Tell us what you would like us to do and give us enough information to find your records — for example, the mobile phone number or email address you used, your relationship to us, and roughly when and where you shopped or which business you work for.
Please do not send us passwords, full payment card numbers, or other credentials.
Opt-out preference signals. Some browsers and extensions send an automated opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control. Our websites do not currently detect or respond to those signals, so please use one of the methods above.
Acknowledgement. We will confirm we received your request within ten (10) business days.
Opt-out requests. We act on a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or of targeted advertising, within fifteen (15) business days. You do not need to verify your identity for an opt-out request.
All other requests. We will respond within forty-five (45) calendar days. If we need more time we may extend once by a further forty-five (45) calendar days, and we will tell you before the first period ends and explain why.
Verifying you. Before we act on a request, we need to be reasonably satisfied it is really from you. What we ask for depends on what you are requesting and how sensitive the information is — usually confirming details already associated with your records and, for requests involving more sensitive information, additional identifying information. We use anything you give us for verification only to verify you. We do not use it for any other purpose, and we delete it once we no longer need it to document that we handled your request properly.
Authorized agents. Someone else can submit a request for you. We may require written permission signed by you, or a valid power of attorney, and we may contact you directly to verify your identity and their authority.
If we cannot fulfill a request. Some information we have to keep — transaction and settlement records required by card network rules and benefit program rules, records we need to detect and prevent fraud, and records required by tax, accounting, and other legal obligations. If we cannot delete or disclose something, we will tell you which category applies and what we did instead.
If your request concerns purchases you made at a store that uses our point-of-sale systems, send it to us anyway — you do not need to contact the store separately.
For those transactions, the store is the business you dealt with, and we generally act as its service provider. We will process your request and coordinate with the store where we need to, so that you have a single point of contact. Some decisions may ultimately be the store’s to make, and we will tell you if that is the case.
The same applies if you are a product user at a merchant and your request concerns information we hold on that merchant’s behalf.
SuperSonic Rewards members and consumer app users. To close your membership, email privacy@supersonicpos.com with “Delete my account” in the subject line, and include the mobile phone number or email address associated with your membership so we can find it. You can also ask us using any other method in Section 2, or close your membership from within the application. What happens when a membership closes is described below under “What is deleted and what we keep.”
Unredeemed points are forfeited — see the SuperSonic Rewards Terms. Points and rewards issued under a participating merchant’s Store Program are administered by that merchant under its own program rules.
Product users at a merchant. Your access to SuperSonic Cloud and our merchant applications is created and controlled by your employer, so your employer normally removes your account. If you cannot reach them, or you want your personal information deleted rather than only your access removed, submit a request here and we will handle it and coordinate with them where we need to.
Business contacts and website visitors. Submit a request using any method in Section 2.
What is deleted and what we keep. When we close an account, we remove the account access and direct contact identifiers, terminate the membership, forfeit unredeemed points and rewards, and dissociate retained rewards and transaction activity from the former account. Retained transaction records are assigned to a non-identifying internal record and are no longer maintained as part of an identifiable membership. We keep records we are required to keep: transaction and settlement records required by card network rules and by benefit program rules, records needed to detect and prevent fraud, security and audit logs for their defined retention period, and records required by tax, accounting, and other legal obligations. Retained records are limited to those purposes.
Timing and backups. We complete account deletions within the timeframes in Section 3. Backups are overwritten on our normal cycle, so a copy may persist briefly in backup systems before it is removed.
Marketing email. Unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email.
Text messages. Reply STOP to any message to stop that program. Each program and each channel has its own opt-out — see our SMS & Messaging Terms.
Cookies and tracking. Manage browser settings and industry opt-outs as described in our Cookie & Tracking Notice.
Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. Submit a request here, or use the browser controls, device settings, and industry opt-out programs described in our Cookie & Tracking Notice. That Notice explains how we suppress identifiable advertising records when we act on a request, which browser technologies may continue loading, and which technologies continue because they are strictly necessary or used for fraud prevention and security.
If we deny your request, you can appeal. Email privacy-appeals@supersonicpos.com with “Appeal” in the subject line, and tell us which decision you are appealing and why.
We will respond in writing within forty-five (45) calendar days with our decision and the reasons for it. If we deny your appeal, we will tell you how to submit a complaint to the Attorney General in your state.
